야사 하이페츠 Jascha Heifetz, Vitali Chaconne

    명연주자이자 명교육자였던 하이페츠는 강의를 녹화한 동영상이 있어서 바이올린 연주자들은 자료로 참고하기도 하는데 이제는 유투브에서도 쉽게 찾을 수 있습니다. 공부하기 참 좋아졌죠. 그의 명반들이야 뭐 두말하면 입아프지만.. 오늘은 그의 가장 인기있는 연주곡 중 한 곡을 포스팅하고자 합니다. 이 곡은 슬플 때 듣지 마세요. 눈물이 나거든요.  

Jascha Heifetz (/ˈhaɪfɪts/; February 2 [O.S. January 20] 1901 – December 10, 1987) was a violinist, widely considered to be one of the finest violinists of modern times. Born in Vilnius, Russian Empire (now Lithuania), he moved as a teenager to the United States, where his Carnegie Hall debut was rapturously received. The New York Times called him "perhaps the greatest violinist of all time."^[1] Fritz Kreisler, another leading violinist of the twentieth century, said on hearing Heifetz's debut, "We might as well take our fiddles and smash them across our knees."^[2]

He had a long and successful performing and recording career; after an injury to his right (bowing) arm, he focused on teaching.^[3][4][5][6]

 

+) 근래 뉴스를 보고 들으면 걱정이 앞서네요. 사촌동생은 곧 종강이라고 해서 다행이지만... 그보다 더 어린 면역력이 약한 노인들이나 아기들이 걱정이네요. 백신이 없는 전염병이라니요. 재작년 겨울에 유럽에서 느낀 아프리카발 에볼라 바이러스가 생각납니다. 그래서 저는 약속도 취소하고 사람이 많은 공항 같은 곳에는 나가보지 못하네요. ㅠㅜ 요즘 길에 사람 없다면서요. 다들 건강을 조심하십시오. 나이들어보니 건강이 최고입니다. 마스크 꼭 쓰시구요.
